if you have wandered this city. if you have praised it's name, then you are lost. the only way out is to truly sacrifice for another soul. but can you do that? can you tredge through your sloth, silence your envy,bury your greed, tame your lust, starve your gluttony,extinguish your wrath? and last, can you kill your pride, your ego, your
"place" in life?. so can you kill that ever present knowledge of "right" and "wrong" that you hold so high? can you completely change yourself with that inside your mind? It has never been done, but maybe you'll be the first. to wash away these sins entirely is to tear one's self apart. but fear not, for fear is what got you here to start with. because the only thing you have to do is feel for the sake of your fellow man, for every wretch and every saint. may your love be the river that does not wash away these sins, but instead changes them, purifies them, like a pond bathed in sunlight. where is the city now? is it in your home, your country, or just your mind?no it was all an illusion, a nightmare that you just now woke up from. but it is a nightmare that will haunt you and stalk you on lonely roads. so keep the ones you love close and love many, lest that lonely road lead once again to the city of evil.
